Got Questions

FAQ

Everything you need to know before you book.

How does the deposit work?

A deposit is required to hold your appointment date. It's non-refundable, but it's not lost — it comes directly off your final total. So if your session is $700 and your deposit was $350, you pay $350 at the end of your session.

What if my piece takes longer than expected?

No worries — all pricing is flat rate. Whether your session runs shorter or longer than expected, the price you booked is the price you pay. No surprise charges, no hourly overages. What you see is what you get.

Do you charge for the design/consultation?

No. The consultation is free. If you're not sure what you want, we can talk through ideas and I'll sketch something up. You won't be charged until we book a session.

What about small tattoos or walk-ins?

I'm appointment-only, so I don't take walk-ins. That said, feel free to reach out and ask — if it's something I can't fit in, I'll point you to another artist at my shop who can take care of you. Nobody leaves without options.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash or CashApp. If you need cash, we also have an ATM right in the shop so you're covered either way.

Do you do cover-ups?

Yes. Cover-ups are a specialty — I've fixed a lot of work that other artists said couldn't be covered. Every cover-up is different, so reach out and we'll look at what's possible for your situation.

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancel or reschedule with 48+ hours notice and we'll move your deposit to a new date. Cancel with less than 48 hours notice and the deposit is forfeited. This policy protects both of us.

Can I use numbing cream before my appointment?

Yes — and here's exactly how to do it right. During your session, Andy will use numbing spray to keep you comfortable as the work progresses. But if you want to arrive already numb, you'll need to handle that yourself beforehand.

About 2 hours before your appointment: take a hot shower, shave the area being tattooed, and pat the skin fully dry. Apply a generous layer of numbing cream directly to the area, then cover it tightly with plastic wrap to lock in the heat and activate it. Leave it on until you arrive. That's it — simple prep that makes a real difference, especially for longer sessions or sensitive placements.

You can grab numbing cream from the store if you need a recommendation.
